pat&elizabeth | metro detroit, michigan wedding

I remember thinking to myself before this wedding that we may go into a period of mourning when it was over, that’s how much Pat&Elizabeth make you feel like a million bucks. We met them through another couple who we had the joy to photograph back in May, and it was love at first Skype ;)

Because I could talk forever about how fantastic these two are, I’ll reel in the feels for everyone and make a nifty list of reasons that make us adore P&E.

* They. Are. Hysterical. Between Elizabeth’s ridiculously infectious laugh and all of Pat’s faces, they’re basically the best time ever, every time.
* They are not too cool to bust out into Summer Lovin’ – in full drama – on a dance floor.
* Their families are pure gold. Some of the kindest people you ever did meet.
* Somehow, despite a full wedding day’s worth of work, we left that reception feeling far more like dear old friends than their wedding photographers. Which to me, is the happiest thing ever.

And shoutout to being in the most perfect location in Michigan for a wedding this day, because we outran a serious front of downpour rain during our portrait time, and it unleashed the moment (I’m serious, the exact moment) we pulled into their reception.

P&E – you guys. Gah. Thank you for everything. You’re encouraging and full of love and the most wonderful friends now. We’re so grateful you had us along to share in this crazy awesome day of yours.

All our love,
