It’s that time of year again! The sweet time of year I get to share one of my absolute favorite families in the world with you all (: (Remember them from last year?!) Crazy to think that last year at this time I had only known them for a few short months.

For those of you who don’t know, I spend a portion of my week with these two handsome little guys. And oh, what an incredible blessing it is! Since I got pretty sappy last year, I’ll try and take a different approach this year. Since I know a bit more about them all, I’ll share some of my favorite things I’ve learned about them!

Drew (3) – this kid and that smile! I think my favorite things about him are his seriously affectionate attitude and amazing ability to so well be ‘the little brother.’ There are few things that can mend a rough week of discouragement quite like Drew running up and giving me a tackle hug. And I love that when big brother claims the best and newest toy for himself (I remember… I was the big sibling too!), Drew just kinda goes with the flow. Well.. most of the time. ;)

Parker (5) – have you seen those dimples?! Oh my. Melt my heart. My favorite things about Parker, without a doubt, are his thoughtfulness and how easily encouraged he is by the most simple things. Just last week at a class they take together, Parker offered to do Drew’s half of the work also because Drew was being a little more, well, colorful than usual. I’m not sure I would have offered to do my little brother’s homework on my own accord at age 5! And telling Parker that he’s excelled at something he’s worked so hard at is like setting him on a cloud. He automatically switches into happy mode and starts bouncing more than walking and you usually see a pretty big case of the dimples.

Jim&Rory (I don’t know their ages, but I’m sure they wouldn’t want them disclosed anywho) – though I don’t get to spend nearly as much time with them, I’ve noticed the awesome support and encouragement they are to each other. They work to serve each other in so many different ways, and I absolutely love the way that they talk about each other. I haven’t heard a lot, but it’s obvious that they’re so very fond of the person they married. That is so beautiful to me.

(Okay, okay I got sappy. Whatever, you knew it was gonna happen.)

Enough words, time to share the photos! Hope you enjoy this sweet family, in even just the smallest way, the way that I do. And look how much those boys have grown! No more! :)
